You’re Not Broken — You Were Taught Survival

Growing up in a home where addiction was present changes everything — how you think, how you love, how you survive. This peer group creates a safe place for adults who were raised in alcoholic or dysfunctional families to unpack the long-term effects and start building something different. You’re not alone in this. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

What Is the ACA Peer Group?

ACA stands for Adult Children of Alcoholics — a term that applies to people who grew up in homes where alcohol, addiction, or chronic dysfunction shaped their childhood experience.

This group helps participants recognize how those early environments continue to affect their relationships, emotions, identity, and trust. Together, we explore tools to heal, unlearn, and build a more grounded, connected life as adults.

What to Expect in This Group

Sessions are structured around reflection, shared stories, and tools from the ACA framework — like healing the inner child, understanding family roles, and building adult-level emotional safety.

There’s space to process, connect, and speak openly without fear of being misunderstood. Many people say this is the first group where they finally felt “seen.” You don’t have to talk if you’re not ready — just listening is a powerful step.
