Walk-in intakes are welcome during regular hours — no appointment necessary.

What Is the Intake Process?

Intake is the first step toward getting the support you need. At Recovery Unlimited, intake is more than a form — it’s a full onboarding session. We’ll complete your paperwork, conduct any required screeners, and gather the information we need to understand your situation. This isn’t a rushed formality — we take the time to make sure we get it right.

What Happens at Your Intake Appointment

We’ll complete the following steps during your first visit.

Step 1
Paperwork Completion
We’ll walk through your full intake packet (up to 35 pages) and help with anything confusing or overwhelming.
Step 2
ID & Contact
All you need is an ID. If you don’t have one, we’ll work around it — no barriers to getting started.
Step 3
Screeners & Signatures
We’ll conduct required screeners and help you complete consents, privacy forms, and agreements.
Step 4
Orientation Overview
We’ll go over next steps, answer questions, and help you feel prepared for what comes next.

After these four steps, you’ll be scheduled for your comprehensive evaluation.

Your intake appointment is a supportive, one-on-one experience. It’s structured, but not rushed — and our team is here to make it as clear and comfortable as possible.

  • Appointments usually last about 60–90 minutes
  • You’ll have time to ask questions at each step
  • No judgment — we focus on helping, not lecturing
  • We’ll guide you through everything — no prep required
