Primary Care
Most individuals with addiction issues do not have a primary care provider, and do not take care of physical issues due to negative experiences that cause stigma with emergency rooms, and previous providers.
Over time, Recovery Unlimited will assist individuals in obtaining a primary care provider within the community, so they can avoid emergency room and urgent care visits.
Moving Past the Stigma with Emergency Rooms and Previous Providers
Many people who struggle with substance abuse do not have established primary care. Our intent is to offer care for routine and urgent care needs so our client’s don’t have to visit emergency rooms for care that can be done in our clinic.
Once we treat the condition, our staff will help clients navigate towards finding and establishing a trusting relationship with a regular primary care physician in the community.
