I enjoy helping clients heal and being able to provide a safe space to express themselves and feel validated without judgement. I want to help people and make a difference in my community; I want to help ease the emotional burdens and empower others and guide them through dark times.

It feels good knowing that your work makes a difference. I’m the type of person who’s up for an adventure and enjoys something new every day. With counseling, I’m always growing and learning about both myself and others. Each day brings something different, and each client provides me with a new perspective.

I entered the mental health field to share hope and healing with others that are on their own personal path to wholeness. I am honored with the opportunity to come alongside people as they navigate through this journey called life.

I entered the field after noticing areas of improvement needed in the system in hopes to bridge the gaps in care in various areas of therapy and community services. Best part of my job is steadily seeing others become the best version of themselves.

I’ve been in the mental health field for 15 years. I spent the first 10 working in a youth residential facility, followed by 5 years in an outpatient IOP setting. I recently relocated from Denver after buying a home in Colorado Springs. I’m big on outdoor activities and staying active. Fishing, camping, and hiking with my wife are a few of my go-to’s. My drive to work in this field comes from personal experience. I lost my brother to a fentanyl overdose and a close friend to alcohol addiction. Their stories fuel my commitment to helping others.

I believe all people are built differently, deserve respect and deserve to be heard. I am empathetic and have worked with various backgrounds, cultures and mental health for over 15 years, and now I am happily working in addictions at Recovery Unlimited. I am certified in DBT, and an eclectic therapist; for the most effective treatment that I utilize, I address my client’s unique individual needs and match them with the therapy that works for them. I am my authentic self and believe my clients should feel safe to do the same. I carefully listen and support my clients in processing events of the past, dealing with the present and looking towards a rich and meaningful life.

Recovery Unlimited has a great atmosphere and I enjoy working with people who really care. I started this work because I wanted to help others find that there is hope to change their lives no matter how bad it has been in the past.

I like to believe that transformation is possible and I see it happen every day. I am motivated to help the family system and the individual learn healthy means of dealing with mental health, substance abuse, and emotional difficulties.
